Ingredients

  • 2 lbs 900g chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper divided
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • Zest and juice of 2 lemons
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Prep the Wings: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat wings dry and toss with olive oil, salt, and 1 tsp black pepper.
  • Bake the Wings: Arrange wings on a baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Make the Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan. Add garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and remaining black pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Toss and Serve: Toss baked wings in the sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
