Ingredients

  • 200 g paneer cubed
  • 1 cup green peas fresh or frozen
  • 2 medium tomatoes chopped
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1- inch ginger minced
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 1/4 cup cream or yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Dice paneer, blanch peas (if fresh), and chop onions, tomatoes, garlic, and ginger.
  • Cook Aromatics: Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, then sauté onions until golden. Add garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  • Make Gravy: Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Stir in spices and blend into a smooth paste.
  • Simmer Curry: Return the paste to the pan, add water, paneer, and peas. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Finish: Stir in cream or yogurt, adjust seasoning, and garnish with cilantro.
  • Serve: Enjoy hot with rice or naan.
