Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach or 1 cup frozen spinach
  • 200 g paneer cubed
  • 1 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1- inch ginger minced
  • 1 green chili chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • ¼ cup cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare Spinach: Blanch fresh spinach, blend into a puree, and set aside.
  • Cook Aromatics: Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Sauté until golden.
  • Add Spices: Stir in turmeric, coriander powder, and garam masala. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
  • Combine Spinach and Paneer: Add spinach puree and paneer. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Finish with Cream: Stir in cream and season with salt. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
