Ingredients

  • 1 medium avocado
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 large tortilla whole wheat or spinach
  • 2 –3 oz. turkey slices
  • 1 cup leafy greens spinach or lettuce
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • Cucumber matchstick slices (optional)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mash together avocado, mayonnaise or sour cream, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Lay the tortilla flat and spread the avocado mixture evenly across the surface, leaving about 1 inch border around edges.
  • Layer the turkey slices over the avocado spread.
  • Add leafy greens, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber slices if using.
  • Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
  • Cut the wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately or wrap in foil for later.

Refrigerate the completed wrap for 30 minutes before serving for the best texture and easier slicing
